It's all about about Leigh

Leigh Perkins is a singer, musician and songwriter based in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, having many influences ranging from Rush to Kate Bush, Marillion to AfroCelt Sound System, Rick Wakeman to Davey Spillane.

Leigh started playing keyboards at a young age, working in bands from the age of 12, heading to London in his late teens to work with noteable artists such as Alge Ward, Keith Birch, Lee Pomeroy and Dave Colquhoun. Eventually coming back to settle in Lincolnshire, Leigh began working with local songwriters and musicians; building his experience in songwriting and recording and more recently playing solo.

Leigh became inspired to play the Irish Low D Whistle, an amazing instrument that makes a beautiful, haunting sound that stops people in their tracks when it's played - music for the soul.
Leigh prefers to keep his music uncomplicated when playing live using only the piano and whistle - performing songs that people love to remember and enjoy singing along to - the music Leigh writes takes elements of Rock, Electronica, Celtic and African music to make something different to listen to.

Dedicated to Roman Siekierkowski without whom, none of it
would ever have started.
